Usually we do the octagonal shoulder to lock the Paint Bucket Mould then the mold will not decentered, the wall thickness can be even. Also if want to short the cycle time, we suggest to make beryllium copper for the top area of core and the edge area of the cavity.

Since the cooling lines are difficult to go into this area. with this way, the cost of mould will be increased, but the production output is improved.so most of clients choose the beryllium copper for the paint bucket mould.


Weather the Injection Bucket Mould is automatically dropped, depending on the product design and mould structure. Also the bigger injection machine with more opening stroke can have enough space to drop the parts automatically.

Usually we design the molds in automatically, this way also can save labor cost for clients.


We can design products based on different ways

1. Samples are provided by customers, we will scan the samples first, then use Unigraphics software to build the 3D part drawing.

2. 2D drawings in dwg or dxf, we can design the 3D part drawing per the 2d drawing.

3. Client also can send the 3D part drawings to us in STEP or X_T (parasolid) file, then we can check if the part design is ok per the demoulding direction of moulds. Then suggest clients to improve the part drawing and start to make mould drawing.

4. In case client just have an idea without drawing, samples etc, we can try our best to find one similar products and do improvement per client’s idea and descriptions, then making your design unique.


Will do drop test functions for paint bucket after mold trial, firstly we check if the bucket will break; secondly we will check if the lid and bucket will separate, so we do evaluate the wall thickness of bucket once we design the part drawing, or suggest clients to use the raw material with suitable mechanical fuel injection. then the paint bucket can be strong enough after injection.
